XBIZ Awards changes categories to become more inclusive.

XBiz Award changesIn a move towards "inclusion", XBIZ announced that the 2021 virtual edition of the XBIZ Awards will include some revamped categories.

In 2018, XBIZ already dropped ethnic-based categories. It has also worked hard to reduce emphasis on body types, body parts, specific sex acts and age range.

Now, though, the company is looking to combine several gendered categories, though it is keeping most of its gay and straight awards separate.

There will still be individual awards for Female, Male, Girl/Girl, MILF, Gay and Trans Performer of the Year, but there will also be a new all-inclusive “Performer of the Year” category to honor outstanding performances regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation or age.

Cam Model of the Year and Clip Artist of the Year categories, as well as the newly introduced Premium Social Media Star of the Year, are also shifting to an all-inclusive format.

Best New Starlet and Best Male Newcomer have been merged into Best New Performer, while Best Actor and Best Actress, as well as Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, have now been unified into Best Acting – Lead and Best Acting – Supporting, respectively.

Two new “Best Sex Scene” categories have been added for performances in Gay and Trans movies.

The deadline for pre-nomination entries is midnight on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
