Russell Tovey narrates short about artist David Robillard

Baby Lies Truthfully is a short film created by Joe Ingham to celebrate the work of artist David Robillard. Ingham called on Russell Tovey to narrate while featuring material from Jim Hubbard, Therese Fare and Jack Deveaux.

Robillard was a model in the 1970s, who pursued a career as a poet and artist in the 80s. His first poetry volume, Inevitable, came out in 1984; and his first exhibition of drawings was originally only meant as a backdrop to the book's launch.

He was diagnosed as HIV positive in 1988, after which he dubbed himself as "David Robilliaids". He died within the year.
