New doc to explore life of gay porn stars during COVID-19

Pornstar Pandemic: The Guys is a new documentary that will be released later this summer. The film is being directed by Men.com's Edward "EJ" James, and will profile several gay male performers -- Dante Colle, DeAngelo Jackson, Jack Loft, Elijah Wilde and Pierce Paris -- during the coronavirus pandemic.

James, director Alter Sin and publicist Alex Lecomte will also appear in the film.

Much of the content in "Pornstar Pandemic" will be self-produced content and interviews to "investigate the daily lives and routines of some of gay porn’s biggest and newest names, covering all angles of the scene from gay to bisexual to gay-for-pay."

"The documentary features the actors during their daily activities, along with their personal thoughts on the current state of the industry and their own roles in it, how the shutdown has affected their lives and livelihood and what’s next once everyone can return to work," a rep explained.

"Their lives are often more similar to the average person than many think," James added, "and we wanted to explore that, especially during our current situation. We’re all in this together, and it’s important to highlight that fact."

"One night, EJ and I were catching up, and I asked what his talent was up to while their business was more or less closed," Breaking Glass Pictures CEO Rich Wolff said. "We ultimately decided to find out."
