“Styling Hollywood” follows queer black power couple

Styling Hollywood

Netflix is once again embracing the LGBT community with its latest reality TV offering.

Styling Hollywood promises to give viewers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the hectic lives of power couple Jason Bolden, a celebrity stylist, and Adair Curtis, an interior designer. The two run the Los Angeles-based lifestyle company, JSN Studio, and have worked with celebs like Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Mindy Kaling, Wiz Khalifa and Ava DuVernay.

“I personally know what it looks like for me because I live it,” Bolden told Out magazine in January. “But I also look out sometimes and have to say, ‘I don’t see anything that mirrors myself and my husband.’”

“I like the fact that I know what his struggles are daily when it comes to career and work, and he knows what mine are,” Curtis revealed. “It’s easy to work together. The hard part is building a life outside of work.”

Styling Hollywood will be available on Netflix on August 30.
