Dan Levy is riding high on the success of his hit series Schitt's Creek. Not only did he create the show with his father, SCTV alum Eugene Levy, but he also stars as the fashion-obsessed pansexual David Rose.
Earlier this week, he chatted with Ellen Degeneres about his show and it's upcoming sixth and final season. And he thanked Ellen for helping pave the way, by coming out on her own show back in 1997.
“For me to be able to tell a queer love story on television freely ... is a rare and wonderful thing,” Levy said. “I would not be telling the stories that I’m telling had you not told the stories that you told.”
The actor also revealed how his life has become more luxurious... just by taking baths.
Dan also talked about casting his real dad Eugene Levy as his on-screen dad for the acclaimed comedy, and shared his thoughts on both of them making People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue.
