Trenton Ducati starting "Next Steps" program for performers

Trenton Ducati is hoping to use his experience in the gay porn business to help others. He announced the creation of the “Next Steps” program, which he plans to officially launch in a few months.

One aspect of the "Next Steps" program, which will be released through his company Ducati Studios, will be to address mental health issues faced by many models, especially in light of the recent deaths of performers like Dave Slick and Tyler White.

“I think we can combat the recent tragedies in our industry by reaching out more to our models and talking about mental health out loud,” Ducati explained. “We will create an open-door policy for models that want to talk about mental health issues this will include addiction. We are working on having counseling for both mental health and PREP available.

“We understand that it is more comfortable to discuss issues with people in your own community. We are working hard to create a place that offers not only a place to work for models but also a place to learn."

The program will also give actors the chance to learn more about the trade, providing an opportunity to learn skills such as video editing and photography.

“I believe if we invite models to learn they might find a trade they love,” Ducati said.
