The RuPaul's Drag Race train just keeps chugging along. The show is in its tenth season and has been renewed for an eleventh. A Thai version of the show is already airing, with a Brazilian version in the works. And now online production company World of Wonder has announced a related animated series called Drag Tots.
The show is similar to South Park, with a very simple animation style but a very adult point of view. In the series, a bunch of drag queens-in-training -- including Dina Saur (played by Bianca Del Rio), Roxy Moron (Adore Delano), Lady Liber T (Latrice Royale), Donatella Mewhattodoo (Detox) and Arugula (Valentina) -- deal with the world around them.
And yes, RuPaul is there to watch over the glamorous tykes as Corny the Unicorn.
RuPaul also revealed this week that he will be working with Netflix on another drag related series.
The 10-episode dramedy, AJ and the Queen, will feature RuPaul as Ruby, a drag queen down on her luck who travels the country in her beat-up RV. AJ turns out to be a precocious young stowaway she finds herself saddled with.
“Oh, and RuPaul performs a killer musical number in every drag club," promised Netflix in a press release.
No release date has been set for the Netflix series.
