Porn studs Carlo Masi and Adam Champ are now married
When you step onto a porn set you expect to find lots of lube, maybe a few condoms, and jizz splattered on all the walls; what you don't expect to find is love.
Twelve years ago Carlo Masi and Adam Champ filmed their first gay sex scene together for COLT Studios. At the time, Masi had already become a well-known name in the biz, but it was Champ's very first movie ever.
They actually met a month before the scene, and Champ requested they get a chance to shoot together. However, they hooked up the night before filming for a little pre-scene rehearsal and fell in love.
In 2013, Champ left porn and moved to Italy to study math. Masi followed.
And when Champ, now a math professor, was outed by his students for his porn past and became headline news around the world, Masi was there to support him.
The two were engaged this February, and made a very public show of their union by sharing their civil partnership ceremony on Italian television.
"I am so happy, it was an incredibly perfect day," Masi said. "Deciding to have such a public wedding was not an easy decision. But we are aware that being gay is not as easy as it is for us for everybody.
"Having a public event meant to bring a ray of light into the darkens of some social layers who still suffer coping with the acceptation of homosexuality."
