Yes, it is possible that Roy Moore could win a seat in the US Senate today.

He has aggressively attacked the LGBT community for years, refused to establish a clear line between the law and his personal faith (resulting in him losing his job as Chief Justice for Alabama twice), and was barred as an adult from visiting a local mall because he was harassing teen girls; sadly a lot of people in Alabama don't care and will vote for him anyway.
