Gay porn actor
Max Schutler, whose real name was Jorge Schmeder, has died.
The actor, who has worked with everyone from Lucas Entertainment to Cazzo Club to Raging Stallion, started his career in 2007. He was named Mr. Argentina in 2008 but was not able to continue on to the Mr. Gay International competition because he worked in X-rated movies; he was forced to drop out and later replaced by another contestant.
In an interview, he explained why he originally got into porn.
"When I was a kid I would always watch Bel Ami videos, and I wished I could see myself in those films -- to be an actor and know all those beautiful boys," he said. "I thought there could be nothing better than to be having sex with all those guys and getting paid for it! I filled out a few applications to be a model for Bel Ami but never got a response."
In 2011, Schutler retired from the industry. However, in 2015, he did a few more scenes for Lucas Entertainment.
"So sad to die so young and beautiful! RIP, your friends and fans will never forget you," Jordan Fox wrote on Facebook.
No cause of death has been revealed. He was 35.
Rest in Peace, Max.
