Joe Mangeniello is the sex factor in 'Pee-wee's Big Holiday'

Pee-wee Herman fans are in for a treat now that Pee-wee's Big Holiday has been released on Netflix. 

As a bonus, studly actor Joe Mangeniello plays himself, Pee-wee's new best friend. Pee-wee takes a cross-country road trip to the Big Apple to attend Joe's birthday party, and madness ensues.

Mangeniello and Herman (Paul Reubens) have been friends in real life for several years. Originally Joe was to play a fictional actor, Joe Mansuko, whose most famous film was Monster Snake (inuendo intended, we're sure). But when it came time to film they decided it would work better for the actor to play himself. 

In the hilarious movie, Pee-wee and Joe strike up a bromance when they discover they have so many things in common (like a love for root beer barrels). While the attraction is not sexual, it is certainly romantic.  

In an interview with AV Club, Mangiello says he's prepared for the inevitable slash fiction pairing up himself and Pee-wee. "I was on True Blood for years. There’s some really, really weird shit written about that show. So listen, man, “weird” is my middle name. I’m ready for anything. The weirder, the better." 

They would certainly make an odd couple. We wonder, who would be the bottom?
