A woman in Egypt is facing a year in jail for daring to suggest that watching porn is actually a positive thing.
Entsar Abdel Baset Ali Mohamad, a popular TV actress in the country, was accused of inciting immorality when she said that porn sites could help single men relieve tension.
During the night time show Nafsana, which she hosts, she pointed out that XXX material could help single men "cool down."
"He who fears falling into sin prohibited by religion can cool down by watching porn films," she explained at the time.
Porn might even help educate men, she added.
"Most Egyptian men know nothing about how to have a real sexual encounter, therefore they must watch porn to learn how to act during their first time," she said. "These films, in addition to books, help explain sexual relationships to many men before marriage which will prepare them for marriage."
Er, let's hope they don't expect their first sexual encounter with a virgin wife to be anything like Big Tit Whores 3.
She then admitted to watching adult films, herself.
Egypt's attorney general Nabil Sadiq was not amused and ordered prosecutors to investigate. They have decided to conduct a criminal hearing against Entsar for religious contempt. If the case goes to trial and she is found guilty, she could spend 12 months behind bars.
She said that she is "not afraid because I did not say or do anything wrong."
"I detected a state of many people who resort to sexual films and books before marriage; it is not my problem that we are a society that likes to bury its head in the sand."
Unfortunately, the Sex Police still rule in much of the world.
