That there is no love lost between the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) should not come as a surprise. The two groups have been at each other's throats over issues of condom use in porn and how best to handle HIV testing and other health issues related to models within the industry.
Of course, the two groups have slightly different mandates, which can explain some of the conflict. The FSC is an adult trade organization designed to be the voice of the adult industry and its models. The AHF, on the other hand, was created to work with and for individuals with HIV/AIDS, and to work towards reducing the spread of sexually transmitted infections.
Most recently AHF successfully helped pass Measure B, which made condom use mandatory in XXX shoots that take place within LA County, California. The group is now pushing for a similar law to be enacted statewide, one that would even allow citizens to sue production companies and models for bareback porn.
