Tom Daley turns into a shark, but not everyone is impressed

Olympic diver Tom Daley released some video footage about how he was transformed from sexy man to shark.

"Ahead of the start of UK Shark Week (2-8 August), the experts at SeaWorld challenged me to transform myself into one of the ocean’s top predators and most misunderstood creatures," Daley explained. "I wanted to raise awareness of the threats sharks are facing in the wild."

Hooray? Not really. Many fans took to social media to call him out.

Tweeted one: "tsk tsk #SeaWorld has an appalling animal care reputation in its theme parks. There's plenty of documented proof out there!"

Another added: "If [Tom Daley] wanted to raise awareness for SeaWorld he should have just lived in a bath tub for the next 20 years."

"Was painted to 'look like a shark' to raise awareness for sharks…….for lovable Whale Prison SeaWorld," was yet another comment.

And, sadly, there were more.

Daley has not responded to the negative reaction.
