Pro wrestler comes out to TMZ

WWE wrestler Darren Young was filmed by TMZ while arriving at LAX on Wednesday, and the 33-year old champ had a huge annoucement to make: he's gay!

He was asked by the cameraman if it was possible for a pro-wrestler to be openly gay.

"Absolutely," he replied. "Look at me. I'm a WWE superstar and, to be honest with you, I'll tell you right now, I'm gay. And I'm happy. I'm very happy. ... I'm happy with myself. Some people might not like it, and some people will like it…. I'm happy with myself.

"I’m hoping to be able to make a difference. It’s very important to me that people understand that someone’s sexual preference doesn’t really matter."
