Men, don't go skinny-dipping in Sweden!
An eight-inch testicle-eating fish called a pacu - nicknamed the 'ball cutter' - was discovered in the Oresund Sound between Denmark and Sweden. Yikes!
Similar to piranhas, these fish can grow up to 35 inches long and are normally only found in the Amazon basin and Papua New Guinea.
Luckily, only one has been discovered so far. But it's always better to be safe than sorry.
"Keep your swimwear on if you’re bathing in the Sound these days – maybe there are more out there!" warned a spokesman for the National History Museum in Denmark.
"The pacu is not normally dangerous to people but it has quite a serious bite," explained Danish fish expert Henrik Carl. "There have been incidents in other countries, such as Papua New Guinea, where some men have had their testicles bitten off.
"They bite because they’re hungry, and testicles sit nicely in their mouth."
OMG! Testicles sit nicely in my mouth. Does that make me part pacu?
