Fighting San Fran's nudity ban

Even though San Francisco's city council made it illegal to parade around the city naked, the fight for nudity rights is really just beginning.

Four protesters were arrested on Friday for removing all their clothing. It was the first official day of the ban.

Several other protesters had gathered before city hall in various states of undress holding up signs like  "The Human Body is Beautiful."

"No matter what, we're going to continue practicing body freedom," said Gypsy Taub, who hosts a local cable program devoted to the nudist cause. "In a society that's repressed and crazy, that glorifies war and at the same time criminalizes the human body ... nudity is a political statement."

On Tuesday a judge declared the ban legal, saying nudity was not a first amendment right. Nudists plan to appeal the decision.
