Actor Nick Stahl arrested for porno store jerk-off

Nick Stahl is ending 2012 in a most memorable way. He was arrested this week for "touching himself" in a porno store.

Fearing an epidemic of men jerking off in adult video stores, the LAPD undercover vice officers were simply conducting a 'routine' inspection at the Hollywood store. Stahl, alone in a private booth, was then caught taking part in a "lewd act."

The actor, who starred in such films as 2003's Terminator 3 and 2001's Bully, was charged with a misdemeanor and released 6 hours later. He claimed the whole thing was a misunderstanding.

TMZ discovered that one of the officers who arrested Stahl was also part of a similar bust of actor Fred Willard in July. And again we're left to wonder if this is seriously the best use of a police department's resources.
