Ellen's Xmas ad offends a few dozen moms

Ellen Degeneres appears in a new ad for JCPenney.

She isn't naked. She doesn't talk about sex. She doesn't even pick her nose. But by simply appearing in the ad, the whack-a-doodle right wing group One Million Moms (OMM) is all up in arms. Ellen's lesbianism makes the group sick.

The group wrote: "Since April, JCPenney has not aired Ellen DeGeneres in one of their commercials until now, A new JCP ad features Ellen and three elves. JCP has made their choice to offend a huge majority of their customers again. Christians must now vote with their wallets. We have contacted JC Penney's several times in the past with our concerns, and they will not listen. They have decided to ignore our complaints so we will avoid them at all costs."

OMM has complained about earlier JCPenney commercials that featured Ellen. Back then Ellen quipped, "For a group that calls themselves One Million Moms, they only have 40,000 members on their page. So, they are rounding to the nearest million, and I get that."
