Samuel O'Toole is joining the growing number of Next Door stars retiring from their namesake sites.
Rumors surfaced a few weeks ago that Sam would be leaving his self-titled porn site for work with other companies. The leaving Next Door Studios part is true. As O'Toole confirmed over Twitter: "Well, for me it's official. The industry and people have left such a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended, that I'm done. No more videos."
However, as he mentioned in his tweet, he is not looking for work with any other company. In fact, he is exploring another industry.
"Just interviewed for an assistant manager position at pepboys," he tweeted. Pep Boys is a car repair chain. (Didn't we see that scenario played out in one of Sam's videos?)
He also wanted to make sure people didn't think he was unhappy with Next Door. "Before rumors start, my decision to leave has nothing to do with NDS. They gave me the best I could've expected. I harbor no ill will."
That means no more of this. It also means that of eight personality-centered sites operated by Next Door Studios, five will no longer be updating: Samuel O'Toole, Trystan Bull, Tommy D., Austin Wilde and Mason Wyler. The only ones left updating will be Marcus Mojo, Rod Daily and Cody Cummings. Of course, that doesn't mean the stale sites will be shut down. Old porn sites never die, they just stop updating.
