If we've said it once, we've said it a million times: be careful who you jerk off for online.
Shawn Rye (pictured) claimed to be a ‘sexually available’ young woman on video chat sites. He would play pre-recorded footage of a sexy young woman, in order to convince men into performing sexual acts on cam. He then revealed that if he wasn't paid between $100 and $500, he would either send the video to the men's Facebook friends, or post the video on gay websites.
Last week, he pleaded guilty to 47 counts of blackmail, with victims from around the world. He made about $7800 from some of his victims, and claimed he did it all to fuel his protein powder needs.
Rye's lawyer, David Barrese, actually sought leniency for his client claiming the young man could have asked for more money than he did. “He knew it was wrong. It wasn’t intended to hurt anyone,” Barrese added.
Rye's sentence has yet to be determined by the court. He should be forced to record videos of himself and post them online as punishment. Just a thought.
