Should gay porn sites be more diverse?

Our friends at Fleshbot recently posted an article declaring Sean Cody as the "most diverse" mainstream gay porn site. While we don't particularly agree with the methodology of their survey (which compares only six sites that had been heavily weighted to white models) we do concur that Sean Cody has made a commendable effort by including the occassional man of color in its parade of hotties.

The whole issue of diversity in porn is wrought, of course, and easily escalates into a debate on the nature of racism.

On the one hand, sexual attraction is largely based on physical appearance. Race and ethnicity often correlate to particular looks, be it skin tone or facial characteristics, so most men are turned on more by someone of one ethnic or racial background more than another. And that's okay. So if a commercial porn site wants to specialize in the most popular "type" (college-aged white boys) what is wrong with that?

On the other hand, in a society that is diverse, it just seems wrong for any porn site to systematically exclude all models that don't fit a particular ethno-racial mold.

That's our take, what's yours?
