Channing Tatum stopped by Access Hollywood to chat a little about his new movie project, The Eagle, where he revealed he had a little accident on the set.
“It’s kind of a painful story,” Channing said. “We were [filming] in a hypothermic river all day, for 13 hours. This poor guy had to run about 15 minutes up the hill to get this water that they’re boiling up by the trucks and run it down and then pour it down our wetsuits to keep our core warm so we can stay in the water all day."
But after the scene wrapped, and as Channing was walking off set, the man ran down and dumped the boiling water down his wetsuit. Not being in the freezing river, the boiling water stayed hot and Channing junior was burnt.
“[I went] straight to the hospital,” Channing said. “Which is very, very humiliating holding your little burnt man!”
“Little?” host Kit Hoover asked, almost horrified.
“Oh, he was little at that point, I promise you,” Channing answered.
That little man has been a money maker in the past. In this clip from the interview (after a 30-second ad), Channing talks about his gig as a Tampa stripper at the tender age of eighteen.
