Your chance with People's sexiest man?

Ryan Reynolds may need a hug today.

Yesterday, the hunk and his sexy wife, Scarlett Johansson, announced they have called it quits after two years of marriage.

In a joint statement the couple said: "After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

Perhaps he can take some comfort in knowing he is People's 'Sexiest Man Alive' for 2010. The star of the upcoming "Green Lantern" movie received the annual honor from the magazine last month, becoming the 25th person to be declared the sexiest man in the world.

Reynolds, who was born in Vancouver, said his body doesn't come without hard work and can easily fall off the rails.

"My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke," he told People. "When I stop training, I turn into a skin-coloured whisper."
