Washington, D.C. teens and college students are complaining about the free condoms the city is offering to encourage safe sex. No, they are not complaining that the condoms promote sexual activity. At issue: the quality, and size, of the prophylactics.
"If people get what they don't want, they are just going to trash them," said T. Squalls, 30, from the University of the District of Columbia. "So why not spend a few extra dollars and get what people want?"
In response, D.C. officials have started to offer Trojan condoms, and have even included the company's Magnum variety.
"We thought making condoms available was a good thing, but we never asked the kids what they wanted," said D.C. Council member David A. Catania, chairman of the health committee.
You know the guys asking for bigger condoms were just showing off in front of their friends!
