Raging Stallion / Pistol Media merge with VOD giant

AEBN and RSS mergePorn producer Raging Stallion Studios has officially merged with video-on-demand company AEBN. The merger encompasses Raging Stallion’s sister company, Pistol Media, which operates several gay membership sites including
Colin Oneal, Sex Gaymes, High Octane, Twinks and Hot Barebacking as well as a plethora of  plug-in content feed products.

“We have been negotiating the terms of this merger for some time,” said RSS President Chris Ward. “It has been a long courtship, but over this extended period we learned that we work together very well and that we all contribute different assets that together form a very powerful team. We look forward to working with the AEBN team and being part of an amazing new company. We are excited about taking Raging Stallion to the next level!"

"The most exciting part of this entire merger is how well all the parts of each company fit together," Kent Taylor from RSS told BananaGuide. "All of us have our own areas of expertise and have had great success in those areas. We are literally merging all those areas into one massive whole. We really feel that coming together completes each side of the Rubiks cube, if I can use that analogy."

AEBN merged with Naked Sword in early 2007. This deal makes AEBN one of the biggest gay adult companies (though most of its VOD offerings are straight) and vastly expands its reach from video-on-demand to content production and membership sites. Is this a good thing for consumers? Time will tell.
