Prince just says 'no' to homosexuality

We always assumed, rightly or wrongly, that Prince was down with the gays. He is not. Seven years ago Prince became a Jehovah's Witness. They view homosexuality as a sin.

In a recent interview with The New Yorker Prince laid it all out.

“God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever," he said, "and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’ ”

However, Prince's people are now claiming his Purpleness never said any such thing, telling Perez Hilton: "We're very angry he was misquoted." They claim the interviewer made several errors in the piece, including a claim that the singer was recovering from hip surgery - an operation he never had.
