Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen strikes again

Watch out world, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is back with a vengeance and it looks like he successfully punked at least 2,000 people in Arkansas last month.

Two cage-fighting events were advertised promising "hot chicks, cold beer and hardcore fights," with a thousand fans showing up for each show. What they saw instead was a beautiful display of two combatants kissing, gyrating and stripping down to their underwear.

The audience paid about $5 for the show and were given $1 beers for the night. T-shirts reading "Straight Dave's United Straights of America" -- complete with pictures of guns, beers and bikini-clad breasts -- were also given out while the audience sang heterosexual-centric songs.

"Towards the end a guy got into the ring with Borat [and] staged a short fight," one witness said, "and before long Borat had him pinned against the cage kissing him as the stands were clearing from the homo activity.

"I looked back to see Borat on his knees in front of the unknown man, you can figure the rest." [more]

Lacking any sense of humor at all, the crowd chased the actors, pelting them with plastic beer cups and chairs.(Luckily the event planners had the foresight not to serve beer in bottles!)

Cohen is currently working on a new film entitled "Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt." The movie focuses on the popular Cohen character Bruno, a gay Austrian culture reporter.

In 2006 another Cohen character became famous in "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" about a Kazakhstan reporter fumbling about through America. The movie relied heavily on tricking people into believing Borat was a real journalist.

Baron Cohen’s spokesman would not confirm his client was behind the incident.
