2008 Grabby Award winners

Once again the very best in gay porn was feted and fondled in Chicago on the weekend at the 2008 Grabby Erotic Video Awards. This is the 15th anniversary of the awards with the very first Grabbys being announced in "Gay Chicago Magazine" back in 1993. It wasn't until 2000 that the awards were given out live, initially (and appropriately) at the Man's Country Bathhouse.

Some of the front runners this year included Raging Stallion's "Grunts" with ten nominations and Hot House's "Verboten 1 and 2" with seven. However, it was "Link: The Evolution" from All Worlds Video that threatened to be this year's biggest winner with an impressive thirteen noms.

So who went home happy? The envelope please...

Raging Stallion Studios' "Grunts" won for Best Video, Best Director (Chris Ward and Ben Leon), Best Supporting Actor (Ricky Sinz), and Best Solo (Ricky Sinz, sharing the win with Tory Mason from "Paradise Found," by Buckshot Productions). This is one must see video, having already picked up several GayVN Awards in February and a couple Hard Choice Awards in April. Then again, can you really go wrong with hot men in uniform fucking the crap out of each other?

Best Actor was shared between Jason Ridge in "A Rising Star" (Ridgeline Films) and Erik Rhodes from "The Ivy League" (Falcon Studios). We've suggested that all ties should be broken with a nude wrestling match ... maybe next year!

Of course, not all dicks are created equal so there's an award to determine who has the best equipment for the job. Winning Hottest Uncut Cock with his 10 inch donkey dong was relative newcomer Devin Moss from CitiBoyz.
