Turning the tables: Flavaworks sues city

FlavaMen.com owner Bleicher sues MiamiNot too long ago, Phillip Bleicher and his company FlavaWorks were found guilty by Miami's Code Enforcement Board for running an adult business in a residential area of the city. They were ordered to close down their porn site CocoDorm.com, which was operating out of a neighborhood house.

However, Bleicher is not going down without a fight. The company's attorney, James Benjamin, explained that when another one of FlavaWorks sites, VoyeurDorm.com, faced a similar issue in Tampa, Florida, an 11th circuit court of appeals ruled that because the public did not actually go into the house for sex, the company was not really providing adult entertainment and therefore not breaking any laws.

Bleicher, who blames the whole ordeal on a "jealous competitor spreading malicious lies and rumors" told GAYVN.com that "we are going to pursue this case against the city and fight for our first amendment rights."

Good thing FlavaWorks rival wasn't Harlow Cuadra or Joseph Kerekes. Things could have been a lot worse than a boring Enforcement Board meeting!
