Up, up and a gay!

What would you do if you ran into The Grim Raper or The Poker in a dark alley? Call Batdude, Throbin and Superguy, three spandexed heroes with all the right moves and the biggest weapons, of course!

TheSuperBuds website (now offline), offering such movies as "Batdude & Throbin Meet the Grim Raper" and "Superguy vs. the Nerd," was designed for anyone who fantasizes about men in skin-tight super-suits saving lives and punishing the bad guys with hot sexual encounters.

Hunter Media started the site with hopes of creating something explicit, but unique. According to Tom Moore, president of the company: "There are plenty of superhero gay websites on the market today, but very few contain actual storylines, and that's what we think will make TheSuperBuds stand out from the rest."

Gay superheroes are becoming more common in the mainstream as well. From the Hulkling to Northstar to Yoshi Mishimi, gay characters exist in Marvel, DC and Vertigo comic books. And gay comics, from Patrick Fillion's sexually charged "Naked Justice" to the teen angst of "Pride High", are discovering fans around the world.

There is certainly an audience for it. Moore claims that over 50,000 members in various gay web groups exchange pictures of themselves in costumes or erotic tales of famous superheroes in same-sex situations -- sites like the Yahoo! group "Gay Superhero Fantasies." This isn't too surprising, considering some of us grew up wanting to be ravished by blond stud AquaMan or worked over by the hirsute Wolverine.

Now if we could only figure out how the Green Horny's new decoder cock ring works ...
