Israeli consul employee outed as porn star

He’s out. And he’s out! An Israeli consulate official quit his job this week after New York Post’s Page Six revealed he was a gay porn star. Roman Ragazzi worked in the administrative offices of the consulate, but spent his free time filming adult videos.

The news came out when a Post reporter discovered Roman's alter ego on BigMuscle.com. When the reporter was able to confirm that Roman was actually Dror Barak and worked for the consulate, they contacted the consulate and Roman quickly tendered his resignation.

However, there may be more to the story. Collin O’Niel, Roman’s friend and fellow porn star, says the scandal began when a man calling himself Sean Michael Kirkham, a self-proclaimed diamond dealer and party promoter, offered Roman a couple hosting jobs for parties Kirkham was throwing overseas. Roman trusted Kirkham, and even confided his full name and where he worked. Two weeks later Kirkham apparently sent an email to Roman’s employer informing them of his porn career and Roman was subsequently fired.

The story was quickly picked up by The New York Post and several Israeli papers.

Raging Stallion claims their model, whose first movies will be released over the next few weeks, was “unshaken by the news.” However, Gay Porn Blog is reporting that Roman is now trying to figure out how to deal with the delicate issue of his family after they saw the headlines in the Israeli press.

Israel has been rocked by several recent scandals. Israeli President Moshe Katsav has been on leave of absence since August, when he was accused by more than five women of sexual harassment. In March, Israel recalled its ambassador to El Salvador, Tsuriel Raphael, after he was found two weeks earlier outside his residence tied up, gagged and drunk while wearing bondage equipment.
