Mom wants dead son's film blocked

Stripper and porn model Mark Kraynak was found dead in a Canadian quarry last summer, but before he died he had made one more movie - which his mom now wants canned.

Janice Harshman Kraynak was unaware of her 23-year-old son's film and its March 1 release, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, but promises that she'll try to stop adult modeling agency French Connection Francaise from releasing it.

The owner of that agency, Stephen Sirard, announced last week amid the filing of lawsuits over Kraynak's death that he intends to go forward with marketing the film, the proceeds of which will benefit the family of Steven Wright, a California man and fellow model who also was found dead in the quarry.

The film, titled "Let's Get It On," was produced by Next Door Studios and features Kraynak (whose nom de porn was "Nick"), an Army veteran, and Wright each in three scenes with a woman. The friends filmed the movie last year before an August trip to Montreal.

During their stay police believe they stiffed a taxi driver on their way to a suburban after-hours club near the quarry where their bodies were found. An investigation into the men's deaths continues to focus its efforts on locating the cab driver, but so far has been unsuccessful due to alleged errors by Montreal police, who Sirard is suing for negligence.

That lawsuit isn't enough, however, to appease Mrs. Kraynak. She has petitioned Sirard and others who hired her son as a model to stop distributing the porn movies and photos in which he appears. At least two websites, including Straight Guys for Gay Eyes, have continued to feature Kraynak's work.
