They say a picture is worth a thousand words - and that goes triple for porn. With over 260 nominations in 35 categories even die hard fans must be challenged by this year's GayVN nominations. If you have trouble visualizing what all those nominees actually look like - and  who wouldn't - Frisky Fans has come to the rescue with an illustrated Layman's Guide to the 2006 GayVNs.

The Guide makes wading through the nominations a lot more interesting as it includes associated boxcovers and still photos. "We thought the fans would find it helpful to see more than just a long list of categories and titles," said website spokesman Lefty Carlson. 

That seems obvious - which begs the question of why the GayVN Awards aren't providing boxcovers and photos at their own site, GayVN.com. Oh well, maybe next year ...
