Gay porn recruiters alarm MI colleges

University administrators are warning students to resist the recruitment drive that a gay porn company has undertaken at campuses across Michigan.

The "College Campus Invasion Tour" is the brain-child of Derek Ward, 24, owner of MidwestXBois, based in Ann Arbor. Ward posted flyers at five Michigan universities and is holding an on-campus promotional event every Saturday in April at East Michigan U.

Ward initially told The Daily Oakland Press that the company would film anywhere on campus, �from bathrooms, dorm rooms to study halls and libraries. It�s just a bunch of guys looking to show off on campus.�

That would be illegal. Ward later changed his story and told The Michigan Daily that he would not film on campus.

The MidwestXBois website features 30 models; it has a very basic design and is excruciatingly slow. According to a response posted on the site, they have had over 40 inquiries from potential models because of the press attention.
