Porn star Ty Roderick jailed

It has been quite a while since Ty Roderick appeared on BananaGuide. The once prolific porn gay-for-pay model worked with everyone from Next Door Studios to Hot House to Cocky Boys. In 2016, however, he pulled back from the studio scene to focus on his OnlyFans page.

But all this time he's been hiding a secret: until this week, he was a fugitive from the law.

According to legal documents, back in 2008 he was arrested for domestic violence with a dangerous weapon in Portland, Maine. He was convicted in 2009. He then went on the run, hiding in plain site in porn videos.

He took to Twitter this week to tell fans that he was turning himself in.

"Hey Everyone! I wanted to let you know that I am going to be incarcerated for the next 280 days," he shared." I turned myself in to deal with something that has prevented me from going home to see my family for a very long time."

As with many abusers, there is a pattern here. Back in 2016, in Las Vegas, he was on probation for a different domestic abuse charge, and violated that probation with an additional assault on his partner. He then spent 36 days behind bars.

He is now looking for financial support from fans, just like he did in 2016.

"Donors will get a letter, a call, my address or all 3 depending on donation," he wrote. "I love you all and always appreciate the love and support you have given me."

We just hope that turning himself in is a sign that he is truly making some much needed changes in his life.
