RIP: Roman Heart

News has just recently come out that former porn star Roman Heart passed away last year. He was 33.

Why this is only coming out now is not yet known. Several former co-workers and friends were shocked and saddened by the news.

Heart started his career with Falcon, appearing in the 2004 release Flesh. He later partnered -- professionally and personally -- with fellow model Benjamin Bradley, becoming part of an industry power couple.

He eventually left the biz.

In 2016, rumors he was addicted to meth and living in a van started to circulate. He reached out to The Sword to set the record straight.

"I stopped working in the industry because like the Music Industry people started downloading porn for free, the money wasn't there anymore, and my personal site died with my relationship with Benjamin," he shared at the time. "It's hard to do the same job for a fraction of the money, not to mention there was no more PR, no makeup, no residuals, no per diem ... "

He added: "'Roman Heart' was a job, or career. But not an identity [...] I don't regret anything I did, don't get me wrong, but Roman was a persona, not real. So naturally when I stopped working and quit, that I would stop all related social media, etc with the name Roman Heart. The business didn't make me who I was and I didn't find my identity in it and being Roman Heart, unlike so many models that can't seem to identify and distinguish between the industry and the reality, they get lost in it and can't imagine not being that alter sexy ego."

The cause of Roman's death is unclear at this time.
