"Obtaining political freedom was so important for me that I left all of my family behind and risked by life by escaping on foot through the snowy mountains from Iran to Turkey," he said.

Although arrested and almost deported back to Iran, the United Nations was able to intervene and literally save his life.

In time, Arad made his way to Los Angeles. He found work as go-go boy and model, and started shooting porn.

“I received an email from a porn company… they saw my photos on social media and they wanted me to work for them -- so I said yeah because  I wanted to try something new,” he revealed.

“I came out to my family and friends because of the adult entertainment I’m involved in. Some were glad for me, others were upset, but I’m happy with the path I’m on now.”

In 2018, Arad received a strange bit of push back from fans when he appeared in a bi-themed movie. Some people were even questioning if he was really gay.

“I’m a gay man," he told Str8UpGayPorn. "This was only a job, and it was nothing more. Nothing personal. I was working, and it was like any other scene I’ve done.”
