Battle of the lockdown lads

Recently, AVN sat down with two porn stars -- Devin Franco and Michael Boston -- to find out how they are coping in lockdown.

DEVIN FRANCO

Devin has been spending his time in California.

"I am in the heart of Hollywood, hunkered down in my apartment with my roommate Dakota Payne," he shared. "We sit out on my balcony a lot, and most of the people I see are wearing masks. The ones who aren't are usually exercising or just walking their dog."

He added: "I was already a bit of a homebody, so my routine hasn't changed much since I work mostly from home. The main thing that has changed for me is not being able to go to the gym, which is a big deal for me because it's not only a big part of my work, but it is an outlet for my passions and a place for me to let off steam."

"I have been trying to keep myself busy with baking, reading. I've been working on a collage, making sure I have content to share, playing video games and watching plenty of TV. But even with plenty to do, the lockdown is starting to get to me mentally and emotionally. I am not the most social person, but I still crave being around my friends and meeting new people, and hooking up with guys. Plus, the future is so unknown right now. It's hard to plan your next steps when the ground beneath your feet is constantly shifting. I keep wishing things would go back to normal, but I know that's unlikely. I just don't have an idea of what the new normal is."

MICHAEL BOSTON

Michael is on the other side of the country.

"I’m in Tampa," he explained. "People, for the most part, seem to be being safe. Ultimately, I can’t control others, I can only control me. I’m doing my best to be safe and still make sure that my fans are satisfied."

He continued: "My routine is vastly different now. I can’t go to the gym (Florida gyms were set to re-open today, May 18), I rarely see friends and family, I don’t eat as much as I normally do because I don’t have a gym, I’m not shooting studio content, it’s been rough. I’m the type of person who likes doing things, being active, having a mission or a goal, and now most of my usual things I do are gone."

"I miss shooting so much. I love shooting studio porn. It’s been driving me crazy that I can’t travel and shoot. Also, having the gyms closed was stressing me out as well. Two major things that I enjoy doing are gone for now. It’s been an adjustment."
