Pop stars Sam Smith and Demi Lovato have released the video for their single "I’m Ready."

 

The video shows what the Olympics would be like if they were a little more gay. In it Smith and Lovato compete in a series of events with a star-studded cast of LGBT performers and drag stars, including RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Valentina and Gigi Goode.

 

"It was amazing to work with Demi and all the amazing writers in the studio through to creating our very own queer Olympics for the video," Smith said in his YouTube post. "We created the song surrounded by love and happiness and the outcome feels incredibly powerful so I hope that right now, in this unsettling and sad time, this makes you smile."

 

The single is the first of the new music Smith recently promised fans.
