Mystery, murder ... and male strippers
Netflix’s new Spanish-language hit is a mix of Magic Mike and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Toy Boy follows a straight male stripper who has been framed with the murder of a wealthy woman's husband; he spends 7 years in prison before having his conviction overturned. Once out, he wastes no time hunting down the real culprit.
Sexy Jesus Mosquera plays Hugo, the stripper. He may be looking for justice, but he also needs to make a living. With that in mind, he hooks up with his old stripper buddies, the Toy Boys!
This is Mosquera's first major acting role. He was a soccer player who was discovered by a TV producer. The newbie actor spent nine months taking acting lessons and sculpting his body to prepare for the part of Hugo. (The hard work really paid off!)
