These straight actors are desperate to play gay

There was once a time when straight actors were reluctant to take on a gay role for fear of being labeled, well, gay.

Now it seems every straight actor is hoping to go a little homo in the movies. Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone played bisexual characters in The Favourite. Rachel McAdams had a female lover in Disobedience. Rami Malek took on the role of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, while Melissa McCarthy, Richard E Grant, Hugh Grant and Darren Criss have each portrayed infamous members of the LGBT community.
