Actor Robert Sheehan admits he has experimented with men

Robert Sheehan

Robert Sheehan makes for a very convincing gay man in the Netflix show The Umbrella Academy.

Based on an awarding series of graphic novels, the show follows seven young adults who grew up with special abilities. However, raised by an emotionally distant father figure with extremely high expectations, each of the main characters has become broken in some way.

Sheehan's Klaus has the ability to talk to the dead. He is also a drug addict, preferring to numb his abilities by remaining as high and as drunk as possible. He's flamboyant and flighty, given to wearing leather pants and no shirts. And he has a very touching relationship with another man.

He identifies as straight in real life, but there are a few men out there who may have experienced an intimate moment with the cutie. He admitted he has experimented with his sexuality in the past.

“I think it would be irresponsible not to question my sexuality," he admitted in a recent interview. “I had a couple of experiences when I was younger with dudes where I tried it, experimented, to see if it did anything for me. And it didn’t."

And though he isn't gay like Klaus, he confessed to enjoying a little weed from time to time like his alter-ego.

“I think the old delicious cannabis was definitely my favourite," he said. "I keep it to a very occasional dabble now. What I like about weed is that it isn’t a depressant at all, whereas alcohol is. You take a load of depressants when you go out drinking; whereas weed doesn’t take anything away from your ability to naturally be happy."

What makes us happy is that he isn't afraid to flaunt his sexy bod from time to time.
