Fans want Armie Hammer to sign their peaches

Fans of Armie Hammer have been asking the Call Me By Your Name star to sign an interesting item: a peach.

In the film, Timothee Chalamet’s character actually masturbates with one. Hammer's character catches the action and then eats the peach!

“I get handed at least a peach or two almost every stage door," Hammer told Stephen Colbert. "The first time someone handed me a peach I was like, ‘Oh, thanks,’ and they go, ‘No, no no. That’s not for you. Will you sign it for me?'

“And I was like, ‘You want me to sign a peach?’ and they’re like, ‘Yeah’ and I’ve got a sharpie in my hand and I’m like, ‘OK,’ so I sign it and as I hand it back I go, ‘You’re not gonna eat that, are you?'”

Puzzled, he did ask a few fans what they were going to do with the signed fruit.

“Look, there’s obviously something they can do with it that would be more disturbing," he said. "The other side is like they’re gonna put that peach on a shelf cause it has my signature and in 10 days it’s gonna putrefy and their entire place is gonna be full of fruit flies.”

A signed Hammer peach? No thanks. But if he wanted to personalize it like Chalamet's character did, we wouldn't say no to that!
