The students at a school in East Sussex, England, recently discovered their math teacher was once gay porn star
Aaron Cage.
The class decided to google the Australian body builder, whose real name is Scott Sherwood, and were surprised by what they found. By searching his real name, links popped up leading to his alter ego, Cage.
When the news came out, Cage was suspended from his job.
A letter was sent to parents saying the teacher would "not be in school by mutual agreement while we carry out a full investigation.” The school added: “It would be inappropriate for me to make any further comment while this investigation is ongoing."
After leaving the X-rated biz, Cage has worked as a bodybuilder and trainer, and spent some time working with students at a different school with their physical education. He later got his teaching qualification in 2015, and started teaching at his current school a year later.
“I couldn’t believe my ears, I was furious," said an uncle of one of the students. "[The kids] had gathered round in the playground watching one of their phones.
“As they found this stuff the crowd got bigger and bigger and they started shouting stuff about Mr Sherwood. A teacher came over to see what was going on and they showed them. The kids were told Mr Sherwood was going home because he was feeling ill — they’re trying to hush it up."
Cage has not said much about the news, except that the "porn shouldn’t be seen as work. It’s a second job at best."
Porn star Carlo Mai can relate. He also took a teaching job as a math professor at La Sapienza University of Rome. Late last year, his students found out about his adult movie work and the news went viral. He refused to apologize for his past.
"I’m happy and proud of both my careers," he said at the time. "They both reflect part of my personality. I was happy I was a good looking guy and the world recognized this. I am very happy the world recognizes I’m a smart guy."
The obvious take-away? Nothing good comes from math!
