There is now a Tom of Finland store

Tom of Finland backpackThere's a Tom of Finland movie. There's a Tom of Finland stamp. There's a Tom of Finland emoji. And now, there's a Tom of Finland store.

Yes, now you can cover your home, and yourself, in official merchandise featuring the muscular and bulgy-in-all-the-right-spots studs created by iconic gay artist Tom of Finland (whose real name was Touko Laaksonen).

“If someone can’t afford a $30,000 drawing, they can maybe afford a $20 cock ring,” explained Durk Dehner, President of Tom of Finland Foundation. “It is just as valid that they have Tom in their life in their own way. We think of them as collectors.”

Although the Foundation is located in Finland, the products can be shipped worldwide. And in amongst all the typical fare -- mugs and prints and t-shirts -- are a few surprises like: a skateboard for those skater dudes who like to flaunt their sexuality; a series of hand tufted rugs, so you can fool around on drawings of hotter guys fooling around; and an umbrella, so you can stay nice and dry during those unexpected golden showers.

Part of the proceeds from the sales will help the Tom of Finland Foundation in its mission to educate the public as to the cultural merits of erotic art and in promoting healthier, more tolerant attitudes about sexuality.
