Cruiser Boys specializes in Southern California guys -- and a lot of 'em. With more than 450 models and some great bonus content, Cruiser Boys promises a fun trip. However the journey holds a few frustrations. On the plus side, video quality has improved in the last year, with the most recent movies available in high definition. Also, there is a ton of bonus content that comes with your membership. On the downside, the site's content is awkwardly displayed, the 90% of the videos which aren't HD are tiny in comparison and their downloads are zip files containing clips.

Tour

The Cruiser Boys tour is very enticing. You can preview the entire model index, watch and download sample clips, and get a peek of the bonus content. There are large images to look at, and the videos in HD are a definite eye-catcher. You can even download the previews to your iPod.

Navigation

Unfortunately the navigation inside the members area lacks the sleek and elegant look and feel of the free preview. To find a specific guy, you have to scroll through a list of months, where the names of the models are listed, but there are no thumbnail previews to identify them until you view each specific month. The chronological "Archive" serves as the episode index. Much improvement needed.

The Men and the Action

These are guys you’d see on the beach and wish you could bring them back to your place to check out what they have hiding under their shorts. They tend to be slim and toned, some are tattooed and pierced, and many are collegiate looking. A few more masculine looking guys and some hairy chests can be found in the mix too, especially in earlier sets.

Some of the cruisers are buff jocks and proud to flex their guns. But what they really like to show off is their cocks. The downloads can be irritating for a couple of reasons. One is that the HD video files have the same name, so if you want to download more than one you have to rename them. Another is that all the non-HD videos download as zip files which you then have to unzip to get several clips.

Obviously there's a world of difference in the technical quality of the HD videos and the older ones. The videography is very good throughout, but the HD vids leave the older ones in the dust. Seeing the older videos upgraded would be a huge improvement. .

Image and Other Content

There are plenty of pictures of these Californian dudes: 456 photo sets at the time of this review with an averaging 80+ pictures per set. Image quality and size (900x600 pixels) are good with lots of nice cock shots and close-ups. The image sets corresponding to the HD videos are also available in a larger size (1160x775 pixels.) There is no option to save the whole set at once (this is where zip files come in handy).

There is lots of bonus content on Cruiser Boys. Members get access to an archive of 250 full-length DVDs and over thirty content feeds. Another big extra, though not obvious, is full access to MaximoLatino.com which houses hundreds of downloadable videos.

Note that the $9.95 special that is so prominently displayed on the tour is the $120 annual membership, divided by 12. We deduct "fairness" points because we think this is misleading.

Summing Up

Cruiser Boys delivers four or five hot Californian boys every month and some bonus content to sweeten the deal. Some of these Southern California men are a real treat and are sure to have a future in porn. While Cruiser Boys is a decent value for its $29.95 price, navigation and design issues as well as the lower grade older content make our recommendation less than whole-hearted .
