Twinks.com is a treasure trove of luscious young twink and collegiate boys in over 350 videos, and now membership includes access to the twink kink site Boynapped. But while this site has the video and image content to be a twink porn dynamo, it is held back by major usability issues, the severely limited trial and DRM restrictions.

The free area of Twinks.com is a mirror of the membership site so it's easy to browse through the "Boys" model roster and the video indexes, but make sure you browse through the videos with the links below the video display. If you navigate to the Videos using the horizontal navigation bar at the top of the page you have to wait up to 30 seconds for anything to happen; then the clip will play (often buffering). If you're patient enough, you'll reach the free limit of 10 clips and then be taken to the join page.

Usability

The homepage of Twinks.com is straightforward enough, with links in the horizontal navigation bar to the "Boys" model index, solo "Jerkoff" videos, hardcore "Buddy Videos," image galleries and erotic fiction. There's also a link to "XXX Cinema" which contains the huge Men Live cam video archive and some popular video feeds. In the "Boys" index just click on a picture and you're taken to his page, which includes a nice profile and links to all of his image galleries and the videos. You can filter your search by twenty-two categories, such as Big Dick, Feet, or Toys.

However Twinks.com has some major usability issues which really subtract from the enjoyment of the content:
- if you click "Play" to watch a streaming videos it will take up to 30 seconds to start; during this dead time you stare at a black screen and you cannot navigate off the page; if you try to click around too much at this point your browser may crash;
- when the Flash stream starts to play there are frequent micro-pauses in the play that makes it seem jerky;
- if you use the Back button to move back from the streaming video page you will be logged out; you MUST use the tiny "close" text link instead;

For the above reasons it's best to avoid the "Play" option (and don't click on the thumbnails either as they will start the streams); if you want to stream, left-click on "Download" instead and watch the Windows Media version.

The Men and the Action

Twinks has a tasty roster of 450 models. These young guys are great looking, slender, smooth-skinned and often big-dicked cuties who develop their stroking skills in the solos and their ability to follow through in the duo and group videos. Quite a few of the hardcore scenes are bareback. Although the action and the settings of the videos are quite straightforward in Twinks.com, you'll find a hardcore fetish focus in Boynapped. These willing young subjects look very hot in the site's fetish scenarios. Both of these sites include brief text descriptions of the scenes.

Viewing quality depends on if you try to "Play" the videos, which we don't recommend. If you left-click "Download" to make the videos start streaming in Windows Media, or if you right-click to download the videos first, the viewing quality is very good for the more recent 60% of videos, and less so for older ones (whose top bitrate is 700 kbps). The videos are filmed with full professional light, excellent sound, and with a fairly decent range of camera angles and poses.

Video Details

At this review there are 350 videos averaging 20 minutes in length. Note that there is strong DRM on the downloaded videos: you have access to them only as long as you are a member. During the past year video updates have been steady at once weekly (add to this the 280+ videos in Boynapped.)

Image and Other Content

Twinks.com offers a total of 640 high quality digital image galleries: 460 are of solo guys jerking and 185 are hardcore. The image galleries average 120 pics each. There is a multi-speed slideshow available and you can also download the image sets as zip files.

User-friendliness

Aside from the usability issues, the trial that this site offers is very cut-down; you can only view a dozen videos and if you want more you have to pay for a monthly membership. The site does not tell you this before you put your money down for the trial.

Summing Up

For those of you who love smooth younger guys, Twinks.com has a lot to offer, especially the more recent 60% of content. Unfortunately, the "Play" option is a royal pain and there is strong DRM on the videos.
