These model-quality young collegiate studs do double duty by appearing not only in the slow, sensual videos but in a live webcam sex show each evening. The archived shows are unguarded and revealing and add a lot of personality to the site. One odd thing we noticed, though, is that even though it's updated weekly, the total number of videos hasn't increased in a year. Was there some kind of clean-up of older content?

Tour

The Fratmen tour ("preview") could be greatly improved. Click one of the model headshots to see 28 small thumbnail images of him. To see a little more of the guy, you have to click the "video" text link at the top of this page -- something that is very easy to miss. Here there are eight small video captures from the guy's scene. There are no free sample video clips available. Click around any more and you'll be asked for a password or be sent to the sign-up page. When this happens it screws up the navigation of the preview. Needs work.

Navigation

Navigation on this site is cryptic: the model index is front and center and there are two pages for each model: "pictures" and "video." The videos take a bit of figuring out. On each model's "video" page there are three options.
- to watch clips in the embedded Quicktime player, click on a thumbnail on the right of the screen and then "Play" on the player screen (you may also have to click the actual play button.
- For full-length streaming video in Windows Media click "On Demand."
- for full-length downloads in Windows Media, click "Download"

Like the tour, the navigation of Fratmen's members' area could be improved.

The Men and the Action

The sultry expressions on the Fratmen's faces invite you into a solo fantasy interlude, where the atmosphere is quiet, sophisticated, and erotically charged. The guys are featured on their own under the cascading outdoor shower, at poolside, or on the bed in one of the luxurious bedrooms.

There's no interaction with the camera, no exaggerated moaning, just a very hot guy, the sound of water trickling over his smooth skin, or wavelets lazily lapping the side of the pool as he slowly brings himself to a shuddering orgasm. Each full-length video has three scenes, usually with two cumshots.

Unfortunately, there is very little information about these guys, either as a written introduction or a video interview. Perhaps that is meant to open up your fantasies without defined boundaries. However -- since the site added live shows and a blog -- you do have the chance to get to know the fratmen a lot better.

Video Details

At review time there were 240 videos (along with photosets), each about 40 minutes in length. The site is updated with new video weekly. There are live shows 5 nights a week, and no DRM on any of the videos.

The video quality is very good throughout, with superb lighting and deft single-camera work. These beauties get the treatment from the camera that they deserve -- as they make sweet love to themselves. The vids are pleasant but would benefit from the use of a second camera and the addition of music.

Image and Other Content

For every video there is a corresponding set of 28 digital photos. The most recent half of these display at a decent-sized 720x480 pixels; but the older one's are small, at only half the size. The images are clear and sharp; the larger ones showcase these flawless collegiate guys beautifully.

The livecam show starts at 7 p.m. Pacific Time five nights a week night and focuses on one of the Fratmen "frat"-ernizing with himself; not only can you watch him live, but hear him as well, as the stream includes audio. This amounts to self-made porn and the hundreds of hours of archives add up to a big bonus, though of course the video quality is much poorer than for the regular videos. There's also a video blog, which has some great potential, showing the guys out and about in the real world, but the Quicktime videos were acting flaky when we tried it out.

Summing Up

Fratmen offers an abundance of college men with really cute faces and lean, muscular, builds. Better quality video, larger pics and daily live shows mean the site's content - if not its design - has improved a lot over the years. If mostly solo is okay with you, then Fratmen is a goldmine of male beauty.
