Armie Hammer talks about making out with Timothée Chalamet

Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet, the stars of Call Me By Your Name, talked to Ellen DeGeneres about working together on the movie.

They even discussed an unforgettable "icebreaker" that included a passionate roll in the hay when they first met for rehearsal.

Director Luca Guadagnino had them flip ahead to scene 71 in their scripts, pretending he had “arbitrarily threw out a number.” The scene was one with their characters making out in the grass.

“We’re making out, and we’re making out, and we’re making out, and no one’s saying stop,” Hammer explained. “And all of a sudden, we both kind of stop and look, and Luca had just walked away and left us right there, rolling around in the grass.”

“And that was our only rehearsal,” he added. “It was a bit of an icebreaker.”
